Driving Change in Asbestos Safety

On 10 September 2025, Assessment Corp CEO Ben Bailey, John Limpus (Founder, About the House), and ADFA leaders Barry Robson and the ADFA Committee at NSW Parliament House. The group met with Premier Chris Minns and Minister for Industrial Relations Sophie Cotsis to celebrate ADFA’s work and the NSW Government’s leadership in banning engineered stone from 2024 — a decision already saving lives.

Our Commitment

Discussions also highlighted urgent reforms: updating the 10m² rule, introducing asbestos registers for rentals, and reducing asbestos removal notice from five to three days. Minister Cotsis welcomed the proposals, committing to ongoing collaboration with industry leaders to strengthen asbestos safety.

At Assessment Corp, we’re proud to stand alongside CDS, About the House, and ADFA in advocating for safer practices that protect workers, families, and communities. Special thanks to John Lee for helping coordinate this important event.
