Driving Safer Futures: Assessment Corp at Parliament House

On 4 September, Assessment Corp CEO Ben Bailey represented the company at Parliament House in Canberra, joining the Asbestos Diseases Foundation of Australia (ADFA) and Speaker of the House, Milton Dick.

The occasion celebrated Barry Robson’s 30 years of tireless advocacy for communities impacted by asbestos-related disease.

The recognition included a morning tea hosted by the Speaker, the rare honour of signing the official register typically reserved for visiting heads of state and a guided tour of Parliament.

The event was made possible through the coordination of John Lee and the strong support of ADFA representatives, including John Limpus and the ADFA Committee.

Beyond the recognition, the day served as a forum for important discussions on the future of workplace health and safety. Leaders explored ways to strengthen protections for workers and ensure that standards continue to evolve in line with modern risks.

As a trusted partner in environmental and occupational health, Assessment Corp is proud to stand alongside ADFA and national leaders in shaping safer futures for communities across Australia.
