Assessment Corp was engaged by the NSW Department of Education to deliver contamination services across schools in the Hunter Region and Mid North Coast. Our role was to ensure safe learning environments by identifying and managing risks from PFAS, Pasminco slag, and asbestos.
We provided end-to-end project management from fieldwork and soil and water sampling, through to contamination reporting and risk assessments. This included developing environmental management plans, remediation action plans, and supporting human health risk assessments.
By working closely with the Department of Education, teachers, and parents, we ensured clear communication and a safe, compliant approach to managing contaminants in sensitive community settings.
